Jon Dibblee was Angie’s Coach, Mentor & Friend
1995? Junior Olympics in Florida with combination Merced and Atwater girls’ and boys’ teams. We experienced Hurricane Erin, played tourist at Gatorland, drove in the “Big Ass Van” (Alex’s words), dolled up and seriously annoyed our favorite Olympian, and danced the night away at Paradise Cove. Jon’s dancing was described as, “stomping on bugs” by Cindie.
